Logan Lechner, MD, FACOG

Dr. Lechner was born west of Kansas City and raised in Albuquerque, NM. He moved back to Kansas to attend Kansas State University, followed by medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. OB/GYN residency brought him to UNC Chapel Hill, where he met his wife, Sharon, a family medicine physician. In 2011, Dr. Lechner joined MAHEC as a faculty physician, where he provided care for routine and high risk obstetric patients, as well as a wide variety of gynecologic patients. He participated in the education of resident physicians and directed the gynecologic surgery rotation with a special interest in minimally-invasive surgical approaches. After more than six years at MAHEC, a desire to return to one-on-one relationships with his patients drew Dr. Lechner to join Grace OB/GYN. Outside of medicine, Dr. Lechner enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, participating in outdoor activities of all kinds, reading, and traveling.
